Hi DOC i am 56yr old i have CHF, Jan13 this year i had the big one and it just happen to be on the worse night of the year,Weather wise,anyway it took from 3am until 8am before i got the stent and part of my heart died, the back wall ,My oxygen is at 95, my heart is at 35percent, I feel so tired, My main meds are,Effient,lipitor,toprol,lasix,and of corse Nitro, Give me your honest oppinion, Given what i have told you about how long do you think someone can live like this without any changes to their life style, Just live the same as i did before, and yes i still smoke, My Dad, grand dad, few of my uncle,s died from heart failure, I have Hypolipodermia also,,It would seem Dad left me This condition,My brother never smoked and he got checked out after i had a heart attack and he was getting readdy to have one to, Had a stent placment in same place i did Doc told him if he would have wated, surely died, But please i no i dont have long but it would really help me to put my afairs in order if i had a number to go on, Just your oppin,would help, Thank You , PS, I no everyone is different, But an estimation based on satistics would be fine!
