Hi Doc, I am 30 yrs old, don't have a child, I was ask to have an ultrasound. The result of my ultrasound is below:
Uterus: 5.6 x 3.1 x 2.8 cm anteverted Cervix: 2.2 x 2.3 x 2.4 cm without nabothian cysts Endometrium: 0.79 cm hyperechoic Right Ovary: 2.6 x 2.1 x 1.8 cm (volume=5.5 cc) Left Ovary: 2.2 x 2.1 x 1.3 cm (volume= 3.2 cc) Others: No free fluid in the cul de sac
Remarks: The Uterus is anteverted with regular contour and homogeneous myometrium. There are no myometrial masses seen. The cervix is close and homogeneous. The endometrium is thin and hyperechoic with intact endomyometrial interface. The right ovary is lateral to the uterus while the left is posterior. Both contain more than 12 subcapsular follicles measuring less than 1.0 cm in diameter with dense stroma suggested of bilateral muticystic ovaries. There is no adnexal masses seen in the scan There is no free fluid in the cul de sac.
Impression:
Normal-sized anteverted uterus with thin and intact endometrium. Bilateral multicystic ovaries No adnexal masses seen. No cul de sac fluid.
