Hi Doc, Last Week I Stubbed My Right Big Toe

Hi Doc, Last week I stubbed my right big toe and fell in the yard. The next day, and still. I am experiencing numbness all over my right foot. I also get very sharp pain from time to time like someone is jabbing a hundred needles in my foot at different locations. My right ankle now hurts and the skin on the inside ao my right ankle hurts to a very light touch. Any ideas? I went to my gp.He ordered an x-ray. I have not gotten the results back yet.
