Hi Doc, My Father Has A 5 Cm X 4.5

Hi Doc, my father has a 5 cm x 4.5 cm pulmonary mass ( seen thru Xray and CT scan )...his 76 y/o now...our Dr. ask us to do biopsy, however, my family decided not to go with that method bec. of his 76..for sure, if it is cancerous, his body may not recover from the surgery...however, what if is benign...can it still be dissolved with medicines?. will a high dose of sod. ascorbale help?
