Hi Doctor After 4 Days Of Last Period My Gf

After 4 days of last period my gf took ipill and After 7 days of taking ipill, my girl friend starts bleeding and she is worried because this time blood coming out is more than usual what comes during period. She is also complaing that natural blood is coming out along with usual blood. We are not sure whether this is period or side effect of ipill. If this is side effect of ipill for how many days bleeding will continue. Do we need to see any doctor or this is normal side effect of ipill?
