Hi Doctor, I woke up this morning feeling quite ill, I am in the middle of a migraine (mine usually last 3 or 4 days), but I usually can take my medication for it and carry on. I am 65 years old, live alone. This morning, I awoke feeling very weak, stomach pain and burning, nausea (I literally almost never ever vomit regardless of how severe the nausea is), no vomiting, bowel movement hurt in my intestines, followed by some diarrhea. I am struggling to get any liquids down, managed about 1 c over today, ate 1.5 graham crackers, 1/2 banana, all of which was an effort. I've been out flat all day in bed. Took some omneprazole (2 capsules), and later tried a couple of Tums. Not much help. No fever (another thing that I almost never do is run a temp.) Last night I picked up a Boston Market chicken dinner, ate about half of it. Concerns about possible food poisoning? When i stand up, i get very weak, nausea increases, stomach burns like fire. The only symptom that has abated is the diarrhea. The migraine med I take does not seem to be easing this head pain. At a couple of times during the day, i had trouble focusing my eyes. I a not sure what to think is wrong, nor am i feeling confident about what i should do to help myself. My daughter is going to the store for me in a little while, so knowing what to tell her to pick up woud be helpful. Can you advise me? P.S. I have follicular lymphoma, very small tumor burden, on watch and wait under supervision of local oncologist. i doubt it relates to this illness, but wanted to mention it. Thank you! Donna
