Hi Doctor,
My mum suffered shingles three weeks back, she was treated and now the rash is all gone, however she is in great burning, pain as she describes it and the gel arithmea we were given to apply just give her a cooling effect but pain doesnt go, this is making her very miserable, and me too as i watch her writh in discomfort.
Doc, what is all this and is there a remedy?, Am thinking of putting her on herbal immune boosters, have been advised on Vit C and B complex. She is 80 years and has been on Blood pressure drugs for almost 5 years now but for the last two years pressure is normal,
