Hi Doctor, Overnight, (Saturday Morning) My Daughter Has A Lump
Hi Doctor,
Overnight, (Saturday morning) my daughter has a lump on her left side, below her clavicle. The lump is the size of a quarter. It hurts if I press on the lump. She had a chest xray done and shows that there is no fracture on clavicle and lungs look clear. She also had an ultrasound done and it shows that it is an inflamed lymph node. She doesn't have any fever. She was coughing about a week ago but the coughing is slowly going away. What could cause this to be inflamed overnight? Is it cancerous? What other test can she take to make sure it's not cancerous?
