Hi Doctor, Today I Got A Dog Bite & Visited

Hi Doctor,
Today I got a dog bite & visited a hospital, since the vaccination was not available, doctor suggested me to take it within 24hrs. Is it ok??? Also after the 5th vaccination is it mandatory to take booster injection?? Any blood check up is required??? Food restrictions is required???
Please do suggest me ASAP. I'm confused & tensed.
