Hi Doctor, My Baby Is 55 Days Old And Has

Hi Doctor, my baby is 55 days old and has little cough. We are fying from Mangalore to Bangalore . Journey duration is 1hrs. My doctor suggested to start antibiotics since the baby is flying. Normally for infants with cold and flying, antibiotics is suggested. Is it mandatory to give antibiotics just for flying reason? Please clarify
