Hi Doctor, My Question Is That My Gynecology Prescribed Me

Hi Doctor, my question is that my gynecology prescribed me a Vaginal Estrogen for my problems of menopause I had Hysterectomy in 2001 but I have my ovaries and I am 56 years old; I read the side effects of this medication and scary to start to use also I heard the use this kind of hormones could cause to get some kind of cancer in my family in both side have been some cases of cancer.
