Hi Dr. Dinesh, My Mother Was In A Car Accident

Hi Dr. Dinesh, my mother was in a car accident and had a collapsed lung. They took her lung tube out today, two days after the accident. Today, just hours after the tube was removed, she is burping a lot which is painful and has gas in her abdomen that is painful to touch. I cannot be there with my mom because I'm out of the country. Could you tell me if this is something I should be worried about and if so, what you think the cause might be? Thank you
