Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Dr, I am a 55 years old male who got the ct coronary angiogram done without having a chest pain just because I have had hypertension and high cholesterol level for few years. I've been taking medication for both of them & my BP & cholesterol level is normal. Now the result says I have a blocked artery (70%-99%) & angioplasty is recommended. I am still not sure if I really need to go ahead with it because I haven't had any kind of a chest pain so far, even during brisk walk for about an hour or gardening. Could you pl advise. Thanks.
