Hi Dr., I Am A 65 Year Old White Post

Hi Dr., I am a 65 year old white post menopausal female. I've had hypothyroidism for 37 years and am taking 88 mcg levothyroxine one day and 75 mcg levothyroxine the next day. I also take 50,000 u vitamin D RX. I also take supplements: asprin 81mg, Calcium with Vitamin D3, Senior daily vitamins, Zyterc, Omega 3-6-9, Biotin, and 25 mg Benadryl. I had a DEXA scan in August that showed some bone loss in my hips but my Endocrinologist is most concern about the lose of bone in my spine. He has suggested i take a medication Evista to help keep the minerals and calcium inside the bones. I have read about this and am not comfortable with what it "might" do. I had DCIS left breast October 2012. I was not given Tamoxiphen because of my family history of blood clots (Grandmother, Mother and Sister) Dad had a heartattack at 54 and did not survive. Brother and sister have stents. Another brother with Acromegly due to a Pituatary tumor removed 17 years. I used Fosamax and Actonel for very short periods of time. I had bone pain in my heels with each so serious I had to go to a podiatrist but I also stopped taking the medicine and that is when the pain stopped after a few weeks. How do I find out how well Evista works, success rate, what kind of complications, worth the risk? pain? what kind of numbers of are there of success or women that had to stop taking Evista? I would like some feed back on the results of this Medication. than you so much for taking the time to help. Dwellen J. Clarke email: YYYY@YYYY
