Hi Dr,
I am wanting to know what would be the cause of a yellow with blood streaks in my phlegm that came from my throat, if I have a viral infection?
History: 4 days ago, Upper Respiratory infection as per GP. Lungs clear, but heard to breathe. sore back and neck. Mild fever 38.5C. Fever spiked on day 3 to 40.1 and then dropped after the end of day 3. Today red throat with while streaks of pus and minor soreness of the lungs and back.
