Hi Dr. Lundi, I Just Got Married Two Weeks Ago

Hi Dr. Lundi,
I just got married two weeks ago and I started the Nuva Ring about a month ago. When I started the Nuva Ring I was about two days away from what should have been the start of my menstrual cycle. Instead it made me skip it. I took out the Nuva Ring about three days ago which was at the end of the three week period I was told to leave it in for. I started my period today, which according to a lot of reviews on the Nuva Ring, it is pretty normal to start your period about 3-4 days after removing it. I had horrible cramps. The worst I have ever had in my life. They were horrific. When I went to change my tampon I had found a small piece of what looked and felt like flesh. It was about an inch and a half long. Was that just a lot of uteran wall that had shluffed off all together because of the skipped period or did I just miscarry?
