Hi Dr Mintz, I Had An Abdominal Scan Two Weeks

Hi Dr Mintz, I had an abdominal scan two weeks ago after experiencing some pain in the lower quadrant of my abdomen, twas discovered that my appendix was mildly inflamed and was placed on antibiotics fro 5days. After which i went for another scan and no sign of the inflammation was noticed. However the pain came back yesternight, could it be a relapse? if yes can i go back to the old antibiotics?
