Hi Dr. My Mom Has Been Suffering From A Problem

Hi Dr. My mom has been suffering from a problem which makes her thumb and first finger of her right hand uanble to hold or grasp anything.And she is feeling very tough to even hold a glass of water or take a pen with her fingers which is left down the floor.

Her diabetes is under control and i am left out with a confused mind..

Please help me out with this
