Hi Dr. Topiwala,
I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and I currently am taking 150mcg of Synthroid. My labs seem to be normal however, I am not seeing any change in my energy level, weight loss, sleeping pattern, fluid retention or anything else that goes along with having this disease. Can you suggest something I can to do maybe help the medicine to help me? As my doctor directed, I am also taking Vitamin D as well as a multi-vitamin. I am at a loss with what to do and it is becoming very frustrating to deal with this disease everyday.
