Hi Dr. Yesterday Morning I Starting Having Very Bad Diarrhea,

Hi Dr.
Yesterday morning i starting having very bad diarrhea, using the bathroom 10 times throughout the day. I believe it was from something that i ate the previous night, but I'm not completely sure. Today has been a bit better, but i just starting having this stabbing pain on the right side, right below my rib cage. Is that common to happen? Should i just wait it out to see if all my symptoms go away?
