Hi Dr, Sometimes, I Can't Listen Properly Over The Phone,

Hi Dr, sometimes, I can't listen properly over the phone, specifically when I am stuck in traffic etc. I use a basic Nokia mobile phone which gives me clear sound, but I have to put valume on maximum.

I have ear vax problem and sometimes a little sudden pain feeling since one two years. Should I worry for it? Should I consult a doctor? Or should I use soliwax drop first and wait for the results?
