Hi! Every Year During This Time Of Year My Cheeks

Hi! Every year during this time of year my cheeks & forehead gets red. Especially when I sit in the sun, my face tans but my cheeks near my nose & one spot on my forehead gets red. It is so embarrassing. People thing that I have sun burn, but it doesn't hurt at all. It does start to peel after awhile. What is the cause & how can I treat it? That way my whole face can be tanned.
