Hi. Fell On Face One Month Ago. Laceration On Cheekbone

Hi. Fell on face one month ago. Laceration on cheekbone with eye blackened. My doctor said cheekbone not broken. However no ex rays or palpable exam. There is an indention where I can feel bone on either side, vertically. He explained that it is fat compression and will take about 6 months for it to fill in. I still have swelling and bruising adjacent to laceration. Could bone be broken? Should I see another dr.? Also still painfull. Thank you.
