Hi, For About A Year Now, I Have Had A

Hi, For about a year now, I have had a consistent draining sensation in both ears and a consistent popping in each ear. Sometimes there are intermittent short terms of pain or pressure. It is especially noticeable at night time whenever I lay on one side, the draining that feels like warm water happens in that ear, but never comes out. Sometimes the outside of my ear is moist. But every time I'm seen by a doctor or ENT they cannot see anything unusual. My hearing doesn't seem to be affected. I was diagnosed with eustachian tube disfunction (seems like a general catch all term for unidentifiable causes) I also have consistent frothy mucus down the back of my throat and some nasal congestion as well. I had taken Flonase that caused a nosebleed that would not stop and had to have a blood vessel cauterized to stop it. That site became infected. Finally after a few weeks it healed, but this problem of the draining sensation has continued on. My PMC doctor suggested taking a seven day course of Medrol to see if it is caused by inflammation. (Aren't all illnesses caused by inflammation?) if there is no improvement, then he will order an X-Ray or Sinus CT. It seems I'm just getting the run around without any clear answers.
