Hi. How's It Going? I've Had A Small Hard Clear

Hi. How's it going? I've had a small hard clear colored bump on the cuticle of one of my fingers for around 10 years. It was originally a blue or purple sort of color, but I used to cut it off with a nail clipper. It would just keep coming back every time and not healing until it eventually lost the blue or purple color and started growing back clear colored. It doesn't hurt unless I really put pressure on it, but even then the pain is very substantial. Do you have any idea what this can be? Thank you.
