Hi I Already Have A Prolapsed Disc (S1 I Think)

I already have a prolapsed disc (S1 I think) which is causing severe sciatica type pain. I am being treated with pregabalin currently whilst waiting for disc to be removed. I have already had a failed injection operation.
I now have pins and needles in my right index finger, it's constantly numb to touch the tip of my finger and I have a cramp / pulled muscle feeling in my right upper arm / armpit. Is this related to the prolapsed disc? Is it a sign of my nerve damage worsening?
