Hi I Am 14 Weeks Pregnant And Had A Heavy

Hi I am 14 weeks pregnant and had a heavy bleeding last week. I have had progesterone since then and my gin told me to have a Primolut Depot 500mg injection. Another ginecologist friend of mine told me that it is not safe to have it during pregnancy. Is it safe or not?
