Hi I Am 18 Years Old , I Have Been

Hi I am 18 years old , I have been smoking for one year now , I have two very small white and red patches on my inner right cheek lining . It has also swelled up a bit . I gave up smoking after its very first occurrence and that would be about 3 weeks ago. Is it a sign of oral cancer ?
