Hi. I am 27 years old. I have always had regular periods on around 18th of every month. I had unprotected sex with my fiance, following which I got a medical abortion done on November 25th 2015 when I was 5-6 weeks pregnant (and was not married then). I was asked to take methergin for 1 day on 4th December to remove a small retained product. This was successful. Doctor said i should take a birth control pill but i said I dont wanna risk as i am keen on getting pregnant after the next 2 months, and she let me go without any tablets. After that I had some bleeding from 12th-14th December which I assumed was my normal periods. But again I started bleeding on 29th December, on doctor's advise (who said it is irregular periods and we can use femilon to regularize it) I started taking femilon tablet from next day 30th December. The bleeding lasted for 8 days (I usually have for 6 days) followed by 3 days of light spotting. I am still on femilon and have taken my 13th tablet. Doctor has asked me to take the tablet for 3 months, but i am now married and want to get pregant as early as possible (in 2 months) as i am already 27 and want to have 2 kids before 30. Please suggest if I should stop femilon after a month and try to conceive or follow doctor's advise of 3 months and then immediately try to conceive. Also, I am worried if the tablet will risk my chances of getting pregnant or affect baby's health. Please help as I am very tensed!
