Hi. I Am 31 Years Old, I Was Diagnosed With

Hi. I am 31 years old, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in February. My doctor advised glycomet + metformin 500 mg. i had that for a month. I ahve changed my diet since i got the news. off rice and rice products and sugar. sticking to wheat, proeteins (beans, lentils, soya) and fruits(oranges). toward the end of the month, i started getting low blood sugar around noon time. I broke out in cold sweat and hands started shaking. I visited the doctor again who reduicd dosage to glycomet 0.5 tab and has asked me to take blood test again onn thursday. Is this low blood sugar normal? The day they took the first reading, i was under tremendous stress as my father had been admitted to hospital with a stroke. Ihad not slept properly or eaten properly. Was the initial reading too high becasue of that?
