Hi I Am 39 And Up Until Last Month My

Hi I am 39 and up until last month my periods have been super heavy so much that I would have to wear overnight pads and always be changing my underwear, well my last period started two days before christmas eve and lasted the normal 5-6 days then January I just spoted one time and didn't really have a period. I had my tubes tied when my son was born which was 17yrs ago so I know I can't get pregnant but i was just woundering because i think it is menopause coming on is it posible that a woman my age could go through menopause now
