Hi, I am 43 years old. I have had mild genus valgus since a child. Only recently am I starting to get arthritis in my left knee. Is knee osteotomy a good option for me at my age? I am 5'6'' and 150lbs. Very active-hiking, walking, anything outdoors really when I am not at work. Also, does insurance cover the cost if you have arthritis in one of your knees?
