Hi,
I am 5 weeks pregnant. I found out that I was pregnant at 3.5 weeks. My LMP was August 10th. Based on ClearBlue Advanced OPK, I ovulated on the 23rd of August. I got my first faint positive on September 2nd. Since around the time of my ovulation, I have had mild to moderate cramping that sometimes feel sharp and warm on the right and left side of my stomach near my hipbone, while other times they feel like menstral cramps in my middle lower abdomen. I also have experienced sharp pains that shoot up my vagina that also sometimes feel like a stretching or pressure in that area. I have not had any bleeding or even implantation spotting. My boobs used to be very sore for the first two weeks after ovulation but now seem to be a lot less tender. When I shared al of this with my OB, she suggested that I got to the hospital to get evaluated. While I was there they checked my hCG levels and did an ultrasound. My hCG levels have been more than doubling, which seems to be good. But when they did an ultrasound, they said that they could see the gestational sac, but no yolk sac and no fetal pole. They also said that they are concerned because they said based on what they can see, the egg implanted in the cornuate or "horn" of the uterus. This means that it could be a form an ectopic pregnancy. But I am only 5 weeks, considering that my dates were correct. What should I do?
P.s. I have a tilted uterus, but I am not sure which way it is tilted.
