Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am 59 year old male in general good health.Last week while at work I experienced some minor but unusual heart pressure pains so I stopped what I was doing and have given up coffee at least for the time being until I find out what is wrong.I was throughourly checked out in the hospital but that was almost 2 days later. They gave me a clean bill of health-said the pains were most likely due to exertion.However.just 2 days after that I have developed something I've never experienced before-foods are not dissolving properly into my stomach.I have no stomach irritation but my throat seems to clench up and it takes a long time (and lots of water)to feel normal again. Its been about 10 days now and thou I mentioned it to my Dr. he told me to try an over the counter pill -which I am -but its not working.I heard that tetra could solve this most annoying problem.I may have to cancel a vacation is this doesn't improve.I am having a heart ultrasound in 2 days and then a stress test.Any advice would be appreciated.Thx!
