Hi! I Am 68 Years Old And Tested Last Year

Hi! I am 68 years old and tested last year for uterine cancer due to some post menopausal bleeding. The bleeding is more like spotting. The tests came back negative and showed some uterine fibroid tumors. My understanding is that these are not dangerous. However, almost on a cyclical basis, I spot for a period of about a week. It is not heavy, does not even fill a panty liner, but it scares me. Is this fairly normal with this type of tumor?
