Hi, I Am 69 & Have Had "splits/deep Crevices" In

Hi, I am 69 & have had "splits/deep crevices" in my tongue the last year or so. Started with tip of tongue burning & progressed to all of tongue. Has subsided some & maybe on ly quarter tongue nod; frequent flare-ups. Sensitive to spicy foods, things like toothpaste and I haven't been able to use mouthwash at all. No problem with acid foods--tomatoes, oranges , etc..
