Hi, I Am A 15 Year Old Girl That Fell

Hi, I am a 15 year old girl that fell dancing on her knee. I hurt my left knee and got an MRI. The MRI results say that I have Intrasubstance myxoid degeneration and posterior horn of the medical meniscus.
Does this mean I need surgery? I have never had surgery.
What is the procedure?
