Hi, I am a 16 year old girl, I've been with my partner for a year and around 6 months ago I was really itchy and my mum and I both assumed it was thrush. Since then I've been in agonising pain each time I try to have sex but can't do it due to the pain. The first 6 months was fine and pain free. This also worries me because in year 7 I was meant to get my last cervical cancer shot but missed it and I noticed this was a symptom. I went to the doctors but they said there was no scaring etc and weren't sure on what it could be so they're sending me to a gynaecologist. Could you help with what this may be? I'm tired of waiting to know what it is and it's starting to give me stress, thanks in advance :)
