Hi, I Am A 28 Year Old Female With No

Hi, I am a 28 year old female with no history of bowel cancer in my family. I have had digestive issues for roughly a year now, which I put down to stress. From going to the toilet 3-4 times regularly usually after each meal, it turned into extreme bloating, gas, and a change between diahorrea and constipation constantly.
Today I went to the Bathroom and had explosive diahorrea, with a fair bit of blood when I wiped myself, it wasn't thick blood it was quite watery and bright coloured. I then went to the bathroom about an hour later and pushed a bit, and only mucus was on the toilet paper with little bits of blood going through it, not a lot but enough to alarm me. I have booked to go to the doctor tomorrow, but am freaking out at this point.
Is this something I should be extremely worried about? I have been looking on the internet and everything that comes up points to cancer :(
