Hi, I Am A 43-year-old Female And Have Had Swelling

Hi,
I am a 43-year-old female and have had swelling above my collarbone for the past 3+ weeks. My throat, mostly on the right side is tender. I was also experiencing periodic heartburn for the first time ever. Last week I went to the ER because I had a lot of pain in my throat and into my ears. I also felt like there was something stuck in my throat. My blood work came back fine. No infection. Since then I have had a CatScan of my sinuses and neck, a sonogram of my thyroid and a chest x-ray-- everything looks fine. I saw an endocrinologist, she didn't feel it was anything related to my thyroid. I still have obvious swelling above my collarbone on each side and tenderness. I have not have heartburn in over a week. I have an appointment for an ENT but it's a month away. My regular doctor wants me to see a surgeon but he has no idea what's wrong with me. I have no other symptoms. I'm being treated for fibromyalgia and when this all began, I was taking Diflunisal and Elavin, plus I had just finished a course of Prednisone. I'm anxious to hear your opinion.
