Hi, I am a 50 year old disabled female. I have been going to a pain management clinc for sever back and leg pain. Please read and help me understand this. I feel like I am going to have a nervous break down.
I take several medications, they are:
Zoloft -Sertraline 200 mg.
Ziac- Bisoprolol/HCTZ 5 mg. / 6.25 mg.
Valium-Diazepam 10 mg. 1/2 -1 2x a day as needed.
Robaxin-Methocarbamol 750 mg. 3x a day.
Neurontin-Gabapentin 600 mg. 3x a day.
Percocet-Oxycodone 7.5 mg. 4x a day.
Fioricet w/Codeine- Butalbital/Acetaminophen/Caffine/Codeine 1-2 capsules every 4 hrs as needed not to exceed 6 capsules per day.
Voltaren Gel-Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1%. Not to exceed 32 grams a day.
Adipex-Phentermine 37.5 mg. 1 2x a day 5-7 hours apart.
Occasionally I will take: Prevacid Asprin Tylonol Ibuprofen Imodium
I have never ran out of medicine in a months time. I have always had more because if I couldn't remember if I had taken it I skipped it. I take drug test monthly and had never failed one. My Zoloft was uped to 200mg in Nov. or Dec. of last year. This is the only change I can think of at that time. I went to the doctors 12/23/14 did a UDS when I went back in Jan. I was told I had tested positive for Morphine. I knew there was no way. My doctor said not to worry about it just consider it a warning. I was irate I couldn't even think straight. I have never taken medicine that was not prescribed to me. And I always told my children to never do something were a cup of pee could determine their future. I called the lab and was basically called a lier that I had taken something someone had given me. That made it even worse I thought I would have a stroke or a heart attack I was so mad. I told them they were either cross contaminating or they were incompetent.
So I went to a lab and had my hair cut and paid 229.00 out of my pocket to prove it to them. It was Negative. I filed a complaint with my insurance company.
In Feb. my UDS was ok.
When I looked at my prescriptions Walgreens had filled my Fioricet wrong they had not filled it with the Codiene Compound. It's nothing for that medicine to look different from month to month.
So sure enough my April test was positive for Morphine again.
And my June test was positive for Morphine and Hydrocodone. And I have not been prescribed Hydrocodone in years.
I don't know how to deal with this. I know it's not right, if I would have taken something I would have owned it, but I have not. They can't be testing this right, and I don't want to have my hair cut again. The only thing I can think of is a polygraph test.
I have the test and the numbers on it I have read about a GC-MS test, but I don't understand it.
Please Help Me!!!!
Thank You So Much For You Time,
Lisa Metcalf
