Hi, I am a 69 year old woman who has had nine children . I just had a Dand C for complex hyperplasia. All went well and the doctor was very happy with results . She wanted to put me on some sort of progesterone that cost near 500 dollars for 3 months worth. When I told her this she gave me a new prescription for 15 dollars a month. I think progestin. I am afraid of the risks of this medicine. Don't understand why such a big difference in price. I also have high level of testosterone which they call idiopathic since all tests show no tumors etc.my regular physcian says I should just have hysterectomy. Doesn't like progestin drug either forme as I am trying to lose weight does it make sense to have a hysterectomy now. Or in your experience would just taking this medicine and checkups be the best.
