Hi, I am a family man aged 34. I have a condition that has puzzled me all my life that is related to bacteria/fungi infection. Since my childhood I used to convulse due to high body temperature forcing me to be hospitalized and receiving wrong medication, those days the doctors thought it was malaria. It was after taken to a specialist that I was found with bacterial infection that is affecting me. Thus, I have been treated many times with the same ailment through IVs and antibacterial treatment. It is good to note that one of its symptom is feeling a lot of heat often and SWEATING. Like 10 years ago I developed some itchy rashes on parts of my body but I ignored it which eventually vanished. Then it came to patches of hair loss on my head but it eventually disappeared without treatment. These symptoms come and go till now. Currently, I have seen rashes and bumps that are very itchy (esp. when am in the sun or taken a hot meal). But I have also noted that my family have started facing the same predicament I have faced my whole life. My wife and children have started feeling the same itchiness that produce rashes and bumps. The doctor did prescribe the use of Exevate MF cream to be applied on the rashes. At the start it worked but after 2 weeks they reappeared. Now my questions are as follows; 1. Might I have transmitted my condition to my family? (Because no one else we live with has the condition) 2. I am getting the wrong diagnosis? What are the best tests to do? 3. What causes the SWEATING and the heat in my body after a few hours? Please advise so that I can know what to do
