Hi, I Am Allergic To Erythromycin, And Have Been On

Hi, I am allergic to erythromycin, and have been on coumadin, aspirin and heparin long term. My haematologist now advised me to stop these medications and start on 1 tablet twice daily of 5 mg apixaban (eliquis).
Treatment is to prevent recurring DVT from factor V Leiden. How effective is eliquis and how high is the risk of an allergic reaction?
