Hi, I am an in home caregiver and trying to make helpful suggestions to a very pessimistic client that is in major pain and has been on oxycontin for apx. 16 years, reached 320mg a day but being worked back to 80mg, as per Oregon medical boards new recommendations. He had 4 back surgeries back in the 80's then was released for work and destroyed everything working his sheet rocking job. He tried nuerontin about 3 months ago for about 6 weeks but said it didn't help, but he said it wouldn't even before he started it because he said it was for seizures... So, any suggestions for nerve pain?
