Hi, I Am Asking On Here Because I Don't Know

Hi, I am asking on here because I don't know what's going on with my throat. I am 16 years and my throat has been hurting for almost up to a year now(it started in July). It hurts most of the time; hurts more in the morning like 5-6 out of 10 and hurts to swallow, then most of the day it's a 1-2 out of 10 of pain level. I am a singer and it is hard to sing when my throat hurts especially higher notes. I don't know what's going on!! I even went to an ENT and he looked at my throat and said that it might have to do with my stomach gas affecting my throat like coming up and making it hurt(idk how to explain it...it's like a reflex.) The ENT doctor gave me pills to take during breakfast and dinner for the gas reflex but it did not help! If anyone has an idea of what might be going on, that would help a lot! I just want an explanation :(((((
