I am diabetic type 2 and take metformin (1.5 g /day). Recently I begin treatment for high blood pressure with Coversyl Plus HD (8+2.5 mg). I noticed a drop in the blood pressure, but my heart rate at effort is going up much faster than before Coversyl. Also my blood sugar is much higher. Could these symptoms be related to the Coversyl Plus HD? If so, what is to be done to control both high blood pressure and sugar?
