Hi, I Am Doing A Case Study On A Patient

Hi, I am doing a case study on a patient who had aortic valve stenosis and underwent an aortic valve replacement. I am looking at the patient's diagnostic report. He had a transesophageal echocardiogram done before the procedure and the results show as such: "Done after induction of anesthesia. Relatively well-preserved ventricular function. Ejection fraction between 55-60%. No focal wall motion abnormality noted. Moderate left ventricular hypertrophy. Mitral valve normal. No mitral regurgitation. Severe restriction of aortic valve leaflets. No pericardial effusion." Can someone explain the results to me and its clinical significance? Thanks a lot!
