Hi. I Am Experiencing Very Heavy Bleeding And My Dr

Hi. I am experiencing very heavy bleeding and my dr has recommended an ablation. He said he will do a d & c along with the ablation to be sure there isn't the presence of abnormal cells (cancer.) This eliminates the need for an endo biopsy. So I'm wondering, can he look at the results of the tissue from the d & c right then while I'm already under anesthesia for the ablation? Or is there a pathologist usually there to check?
