Hi, I Am Getting An On And Off Pain In

Hi, I am getting an on and off pain in my left shoulder area. It started as a lump just behind my shoulder a couple of days ago. But it has moved to my neck area right at the base were the neck and shoulder meet. The pain gets intense for several seconds and then subsides. Some times it comes back in a few seconds and sometimes it comes back after a few minutes.
